All of the content is aligned with the New Jersey curriculum standards and read watch based best practices...furthermore, the students will take a pre-test in order to determine their ability level and learning style....

All tutors have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, are ranked within the top 5% of their graduating class, have been accepted into top tier colleges/universities and/or high schools (BCA).

All of the tutors have the experience to handle any sort of management issue, and the tutors attend a formal training in PIEA’s protocols: including classroom management...

The workload will vary based upon the class: typically in a remote setting the student homework will be based upon the content that will be taught the following day in order to determine the students prior knowledge; a daily exit question will need to be answered based upon the skill learned on a particular day.....however, the workload in our test prep classes will be based upon the individual student’s test score and the individual goal that they establish in order to increase their score by “x” number of points. Additionally...parents will be informed weekly of student progress and achievement

1. Is there any class seats limits since it’s all online? 网课设置有课堂人数限制吗？ 

A: A maximum of 6 seats are allowed per section, but we are willing to open additional sections

2. Is every reading class build on the previous day? So if a student skip a class for a certain day, i.e. Tuesday, Will he able to catch up on the next reading class? 每天的阅读都有连续性吗？我儿子只能周一周三上阅读课 周二不行，周三的时候他能跟得上吗

A: We will make sure that our lessons our recorded after the live lesson, and we will provide the students with a copy of the lesson they missed....the instructor will review the skill taught the day before with the student to check for understanding during the next class

3. Can 5th grade student take classes that are for 6th-8th grade? Is there any reading material for the reading class? And how the reading classes are held? 儿子现在5年级，他可以上6一8，上阅读课有阅读的书和资料吗？很好奇阅读课会怎么上？

A: We will conduct a “needs assessment” on the 1st day that we hold classes with the students...if they have mastered the grade level content, we would move the student to the next grade level....we will be utilizing informational text to teach the students during the reading classes....after the “needs assessment” we will provide the students with recommended independent reading books based upon their lexile score, interest and learning style...

A: I would like to look at the BCA assessment; then, look at other data points: grades, other standardized tests, and the results from our needs assessment....

5. Where is the school located? Do we continue to take online courses or go to the school after the pandemic?

A: Our home office is located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ , This Summer all of our sessions will be remote 我们学校地址是在Woodcliff Lake, NJ. 这个暑假的所有课程都会是远程线上课程

1. High-school prep 只是上午上课， 我们下午可以让孩子免费上6-8年级的课程吗？

High School prep is only morning classes. For the afternoon are we able to take the 6-8 summer camp class for free?  

A: 正确，High School prep到1:15pm结束，可以免费接上1:30-3:00 的6-8 年级的全部课程，人工智能、艺术画画、声乐。这是PIEA赠送High School prep孩子的福利。

Yes, that’s correct, High school prep ends at 1:15pm. And they can continue to take all the classes for 6-8th graders, including Artificial Intelligent, Art Drawing and Music. Theses are all free for our kids. 

2. 两个孩子已报名了一个为期四周的tennis summer camp,也是下周一（6/29）开始，Tennis camp 是9:30am-3pm，可能时间段有冲突。另外看到网站上有academic tutoring课程，不知道如何开班，时间会不会灵活一点，如方便的话请提供一些详情。

My two children have signed up for a four-week tennis summer camp, which is also starts next Monday (6 / 29). The tennis camp is 9:30 am to 3 pm, and there may be a tome conflict between the two summer camps. In addition, I see that there are academic tutoring courses on the website. But I don’t know how to register for the class. Will the time be more flexible? Do you have more details on that?

A: 可以有2 种选择：

1） 和老师商量好，在孩子tennis summer camp, 3点结束后，安排合适的时间给孩子做1对1的tutoring, 或者1对4 的tutoring。

2）tennis summer camp 结束以后，接上后面4周的3年级班，没有问题的，我们的课程都可以 根据孩子的schedule，选择其中几周，或者单点其中的几门课。

There are two options: 

1) Consult with the teacher and arrange the appropriate time to make the child 1 on 1 tutoring, or 1 to 4 tutoring after the child tennis summer camp. 

2) After the end of the tennis summer camp, start to take the third-grade class for the next four weeks. Our courses can be selected for only a few weeks according to the child’s schedule, or child can select courses on a single basis.
