A: In general, the popular programs are Frist, EV3 and VEX robotics for students, that are standard AI experiences for kids, and got recognized by the public.
外界比较流行的机器人比赛是 First, EV3 and VEX, 这也是目前学生们可以参加并被广泛认可的AI竞赛项目。
Our program will teach students the robotics foundation and control logic, the students can apply their knowledge in any robotics in the future. And also we will organize the students to attend the international robotics championship.
课程将介绍机器人原理和控制逻辑，今后学生可以运用所学知识到任何一个机器人比赛中。同时我们也会免费组织并辅导学生参加国际机器人大赛。
Q: Which language will be used in the class?

A: We will use block programming similar to Scratch. So we will teach both language & robotics knowledge in the class.

Q: I heard the class will use VRT as robot simulation software, what are some differences between using VRT and a physical robot?

A: There are many advantages to using VRT. It is much cheaper than buying physical hardware, because just the entry-level LEGO Mindstorms kit is >$300. We can also help students much more easily, because their programming experience will be more standardized.

A: Yes, you can still use VRT projects to keep programming and learning robotics on your own. VRT includes projects used in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) competition, so you can prepare on your own. Actually, WRO uses VRT for 2020 international competition,

Q: Which OS does VRT support?

A: VRT is compatible on Windows 8.1 and up, and Mac High Sierra. It is NOT compatible on Mac Mojave and up.

A: Each class will be once a week, for 15 weeks total.

Q: Are there any age restrictions for Beginner vs Advanced?
初级班和进阶班是否有年龄限制？
A: No specific age restrictions; depends more on programming & Robotics knowledge (especially for Advanced). However, most students who take Beginner are 4th-6th grade.
无特别年龄限制，关键看对编程和机器人知识掌握程度（尤其是进阶班），初级班学生大部分在4-6年级。
Q: What if my kid needs more help outside of class?
如果学生课后需要帮助呢？
A: We can help students by doing free 1 on 1 meetings to help them understand the concepts. Materials for each class will also be posted on google classroom.

Q: Can my kid skip from Beginner to Advanced?
学生可以不上初级班直接上进阶班吗？
A: Of course, we’re very flexible, although the teachers need to feel that it’s the right course of action.
