All of our teachers are thoroughly trained in online instruction methods. The majority have similar experiences to our students, years of experience online, and/or in brick-and-mortar schools. They all share a passion for making a difference and helping students learn in the ways that work best for them.
Our teachers have been trained by us in the current educational Best Practice Strategies. This allows our teachers to leverage the latest educational technologies to meet each individual student's need. Besides this extensive training, our teachers participate in ongoing professional development, so they stay current with advancements in online instruction.

Al Gilson is a founding partner of Premier Ivy Education Alliance. At PIEA, he works in collaboration with the staff to ensure that all programs, employees, and departments meet performance outcomes in order to achieve each individual student’s learning goal.
He has spent over 25 years in both the private and public sector of education. He has a proven track record for creating, leading, and founding education programs: as a Chief Academic Officer, a High School Principal, a Curriculum Specialist, an Academic Coach, and as a Teacher.
Dr. James H. Nolt is a dedicated New York University professor, professional writer and media pundit, strategy consultant, and college placement consultantand planner who uses professional university experiences, customized digital tools, and personal connections to help students achieve their educational goals.
Professor Nolt has diverse life experiences in academia: including living in China for 7 years as founding campus dean of a joint venture college and associate professor of management; at Harvard University, he was a Fellow at the Center for International Affairs; and for 23 years a Senior Fellow at the World Policy Institute. He has previously taught at the New School University, Seton Hall University, and Vanderbilt University. He has a PhD from the University of Chicago.
Bing has 15+ years of experience with students preparing for the SAT, ACT, SSAT, Math Level 2, and other standardized tests. He went to college at MIT. He has scored 1600 on the SAT (and 2390 when 2400 was a perfect score). He enjoys the challenge of explaining difficult problems as clearly as possible and finding questions that have multiple methods of solving. Although most of his current students are preparing for the SAT, he enjoys all of his past teaching experiences including tutoring elementary and middle school students.
